Singapore-la!!!
Took a solo trip on my birthday week and realized that traveling alone is a totally different and wonderful experience. You have all the time in the world to explore, eat, drink, sightsee, listen and just take in everything. The downside is there’s no one to really take my picture. Although, it was a great opportunity to test out my brand new baby Lumix and discover the joys of photography. I also realized that I don’t want to be a photographer after all.
I don’t think I’ve ever walked so much in my life. The weather is like standing behind a bus and just soaking in all that wonderful hot air from the exhaust. The conversation with my friend James put it into perspective:
James: You look like a tourist.
Me: Why? Cos i’m so big?
James: No cos you’re sweating buckets
Well like I always say, the best way to experience a country is to take it to the streets, heat and all. Awesome-la!
