Palawan Paradiso

“When she was just a girl, she expected the world
But it flew away from her reach so she ran away in her sleep
And dreamed of Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise
Every time she closed her eyes…” – Coldplay

While it’s not my first visit to Puerto Princesa, visiting Palawan never gets old. It’s just an explosion of nature in its rare, untouched form. While not really a tree-hugger myself, the street rat in me can’t help but be in awe.

Puerto Princesa – Sabang (Underground River) = 2 Hour roadtrip with nothing but trees and mountains. Everything is so green and blue in this side of the archipelago.

Truly, the last frontier of the Philippines.

a long, long drive
now that’s a welcome drink
untouched beach of Sabang

our quaint bamboo hotel
top floor view, not a building in sight
Palawan provincial capital
sheridan resort
nothing but blue skies baby
nature in all its untouched glory
entrance to the underground river
clear waters
long hard road out of hell – marilyn manson
let nature take its course
tunnel vision
address me as your majesty
Whose woods these are I think I know – Robert Frost
what secrets doth these depths keep?
